APS to Adopt Creative Commons Licensing and Publish Open Access Articles and Journals
The American Physical Society has adopted a new open access policy for most of their Physical Review journals that allows authors to choose to make their works more accessabile. This option comes with a higher publishing cost to the author, but the benefits of a larger population to distribute to and a greater likelihood of sharing their research.
