Brian Schottlaender

Brian E. C. Schottlaender, The Audrey Geisel University Librarian at the University of California, San Diego since 1999, is one of the most prominent leaders in the academic library world.  Under Schottlaender’s direction, the UC San Diego Libraries have built world-class collections and innovative services, and have excelled in the development and implementation of cutting-edge digital technologies in support of national and global digitization and digital preservation initiatives. 

G. Sayeed Choudhury

G. Sayeed Choudhury is the Associate Dean for Research Data Management and Hodson Director of the Digital Research and Curation Center at the Sheridan Libraries of Johns Hopkins University. He is also the Director of Operations for the Institute of Data Intensive Engineering and Science (IDIES) based at Johns Hopkins.

Allen Renear

Renear is a Professor at GSLIS, where he teaches courses and lead research in information modeling, data curation, and digital publishing. He also has an appointment in the philosophy department.

Prior to coming to GSLIS, he was the Director of the Brown University Scholarly Technology Group. he received an AB from Bowdoin College and MA and PhD from Brown University.

José-Marie Griffiths

José-Marie Griffiths joined the leadership at Bryant University as vice president for academic affairs and university professor in 2010. An internationally acclaimed policy expert, researcher, and administrator with more than 35 years of experience in academic, corporate, and government settings, she has served in a number of U.S. Presidential appointments, two requiring U.S. Senate approval.

She has also served on numerous blue ribbon panels covering every U.S. administration, including President Obama’s.

Kelvin K. Droegemeier

Kelvin K. Droegemeier earned a B.S. with Special Distinction in Meteorology in 1980 from the University of Oklahoma, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in atmospheric science in 1982 and 1985, respectively, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He joined the University of Oklahoma faculty in September, 1985 and in 1987 was named a Presidential Young Investigator by the National Science Foundation. Dr.
