The UNT Libraries would like to invite all faculty, graduate students, and others interested in the library collections and services to meet Diane Bruxvoort, UNT’s new dean of libraries, to hear about how the Libraries are adapting to changes in the system of scholarly communication and how the Libraries support emerging models for facilitating open access to journal literature. There will be time for questions and discussion.

Those interested in learning more about open access will also want to mark their calendars for a screening and discussion of Paywall: The Business of Scholarship to be held Wednesday, October 24, at noon in 111C Chilton Hall (inside the Media Library) to celebrate International Open Access Week.
