DeeAnn Ivie (UTSA) is the OER Coordinator and Political Science Librarian at the UTSA Libraries at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She facilitates outreach to campus partners to support open educational resource (OER) adoption. With 138 grants awarded through the UTSA Libraries’ Adopt a Free Textbook faculty grant program yielding $10 million+ cumulative & projected student savings with a return on investment of $48 for every dollar spent, she has worked with campus partners and UTSA Librarians to bolster OER adoption at UTSA, cultivating faculty engagement with the textbooks of the future.  DeeAnn has also served in a state leadership role as a Texas Digital Library OER Ambassador, leading Texas OER efforts and sharing UTSA’s work with the Texas OER community.
