About This Session
This talk will showcase the work of the Higher Education Leadership Initiative for Open Scholarship (HELIOS Open), its over 100 campus members, and recent senior leadership activities that aim to modernize tenure, promotion, review, and hiring to explicitly reward open scholarship and public access activities. The talk will include a description of current engagement with federal agencies as they are rolling out their public access plans, and future activities exploring other areas of academic culture that contribute to a permissive environment for open science and scholarship to flourish.
