Caselaw Access Project API and Bulk Data Service

About This Session

This session will introduce and demo the Caselaw Access Project API and Bulk Data Service. Created by the Library Innovation Lab (LIL) at the Harvard Law School Library in partnership with Ravel Law, the Caselaw Access Project makes 360 years of U.S. case law available online.

Launched in Fall 2018, data supported by the CAP API represents 40 million pages of U.S case law and underlying metadata as a dataset to search, view, and query. With this resource, we can advance access to the law and create new kinds of legal scholarship. In this session, we will share the Caselaw Access Project API and Bulk Data Service, and review how to get started.
