Getting from DFW Airport to Dallas

We encourage attendees to ride the DART Rail train between DFW Airport and downtown Dallas: see the public transit section of the airport's website. Please note that DART rail service is currently not operating through downtown Dallas on weekends due to construction, so DART Rail is not a convenient option for returning to the airport after the symposium.

Alternatively, door-to-door service is available through shared-ride (airport shuttle) services: see the ground transportation options on the airport's website.

Getting from Dallas Love Field (DAL) to Dallas

We encourage attendees to take public transit between Dallas Love Field Airport and downtown Dallas. This involves taking a free bus ride from the airport and the nearest DART station and riding the DART Rail Green Line or Orange Line to downtown (see details). Please note that DART rail service is currently not operating through downtown Dallas on weekends due to construction, so DART Rail is not a convenient option for returning to the airport after the symposium.

Alternatively, door-to-door service is available through shared-ride (airport shuttle) services: see the "airport shuttle services" section of the parking/transportation page on the airport's website.

Lodging

Listed below are hotels within walking distance (from closest to farthest) of the UNT Dallas College of Law. For more affordable options, consider inquiring about government rates, or consider staying farther from downtown and getting to the symposium venue by public transit. (The closest DART station is St. Paul, but note that DART is currently not operating through downtown Dallas on weekends due to construction.)

Parking (for those driving from home)

Attendees driving to the symposium should park in the Elm Street Garage. It is located at 2000 Elm Street, with 4 entrances (on Elm Street, Main Street, Harwood Street, and Pearl Street). Parking tickets will be validated at the event for a discount.
