This Academic Poster Design Workshop is led by Dr. Jesse Hamner, Director of the UNT Research and Visualization Environment (RAVE), and provides tips and instruction on academic poster design and how to achieve wider dissemination of your work through the open access UNT Scholarly Works institutional repository.

This UNT Speaks Out event features speakers from various disciplines offering perspectives on faculty research and the impact of open access. Dr. William Moen will discuss the process of implementing the UNT Open Access Policy and serve as moderator for the event. Laura Waugh, Repository Librarian for UNT Scholarly Works, will discuss the importance of providing open access to research and the option of including it in ones institutional repository.
